Colored Glass

It’s difficult not to notice the colored glass. The theme of the colored glass was repeated throughout the outside exterior of the building.

Just Not the Same Feeling

The lack of color for McDonald’s and Subway is interesting. Both food chains typically use color to identify themselves but not in this case. It just doesn’t feel the same.

The Three Primary Colors

The three primary colors are blue, red and yellow. All 3 colors are reflected in my track jacket.

Attention.

The color red brings the word attention to my mind.

During highly stressful situations, such as a fire, the reaction time to think could slow down. I assume that the brain’s association with red and the probability to react to the object (the fire alarm) would be greater when painted red. Any other color, wouldn’t have the same effect (Imagine a blue fire alarm).

Caution?

On the other side of this door there is construction underway. Without hesitation, I opened the door and walked through. Could the decision to enter the door be the brain’s association with green related to go, continue, proceed, etc? Yes. The color seemed to affect my decision to walk through the door.
